Christmas Tree Cards

 These Christmas trees are ornaments as well as cards! That's right, after you send this card the recipient can hang it as an ornament on their tree. I hand cut the triangles (out of thin chipboard found in packs of designer paper) but if you have the Perfect Pennants Bigz die, you could use one of those triangles and make them much faster. I used a variety of designer papers to cover the trees. Some or retired and some are current but this is a great way to use some scraps. I used ribbon as garland on the top tree and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch on the second one. Be creative the decorations! I used Glimmer paper, pearls, punches and Rhinestones to decorate mine. Remember to add card stock to cover the back, stamp a greeting and add a loop of ribbon to hang it from.

Framelits Dies

 These two cards are both made with  Framelits Dies from the Holiday Collection in the Stampin' Up! Holiday mini catalog. The top card is made by cutting the tree from a piece of designer paper and attaching it with a Stampin' Dimensional. On the second card I used the Framlites to cut out the tree on the front of the card so you could peek through to see the stamped image.

Post-It Notes

 These look very similar to the previous gift cards I posted on Wednesday but these are Post-It Note holders! Open these little gems and you have a supply of Post-It Notes. A little golf size pencil can be slipped right into the paper hook on the left side. The snow flake punch I used is retired but Stampin' Up! has several other snowflake options in our 2012-13 Catalog. The little glitter brad in the center adds a little sparkle as well as some Dazzzling Diamonds glitter on the snowflake. I will have these for Sale at the Bassett High Craft Fair in November.

3x3 Christmas Note Cards

 These little 3 x 3 cards are perfect to add to a Christmas gift. Both cards are made with Scentsational Season stamps and coordinating Holiday Collection Framelits Dies. I'm not sure if you can see it but the Christmas tree is stamped on the inside and punched out of the front of the card so you can peek through and see it. The paper is my favorite Christmas design, Be of Good Cheer in the 2012-13 Stampin'Up! Catalog. The framelits and Scentsational Season stamp sets are sold in the 2012 Holiday Catalog.
